After School Club Leader [United Kingdom]

We're currently recruiting for tutors for our after-school club programs in science, ICT and debating. No experience of these subjects is needed as we provide plenty of training and all of your resources. You just need to be positive, personable and experienced in working with children as you'll need to inspire and control a class of up to 20 primary school children.

A typical session runs between 3:20pm and 4:30pm but you’ll need to be there a little earlier to set-up and a little later to dismiss children. All lessons come fully resourced with easy-to-follow plans so all you need to do is carefully read through the literature so that you know exactly what you’ll be teaching.

Tutors will need to use their personality and teaching skills to make lessons fun and exciting and yet calm and orderly. The role would be ideal for individuals with a strong presence, high expectations of children, a professional demeanour and bags of charisma.
